Waterproof running shoes?
« on: January 30, 2016, 11:10:22 am »
When my shorts go back on I'll retire my snowboots and look for something less chunky.
Anyone tried waterproof trail running shoes?

I just use Karrimore waterproof hiking shoes. In the summer, they don't need to be perfectly waterproof anyway. I reckon trail running shoes might be a bit flimsy. Like wearing trainers.

Look at putting prices up first before running between jobs.

£66 :'(       sports direct,  walking shoes or boots   around £20-£35,  lots of choice,    you have to make sure they properly fit , id hate getting a pair online incase they didnt fit correctly

My daughter buys clothes on line - she checks the returns policy first (some are free) then orders two sizes of whatever she wants then returns the one that doesn't fit.

I bought a pair of these on sale last week in anticipation for the spring/summer.  they aren't fully water proof but some waterproofer spray will help i suppose.  Salmon approach and trail running shoes.  they are still on sale now. http://www.cotswoldoutdoor.com/salomon-mens-x-pearl-shoe-l1212258?id_colour=2022

Do you have to go up a size with them?

Will I be 30% faster?
