Thanks for the feedback . But I'm not gunna use my pole or brush or sprayer . Just wanna keep it simple , like I said get the pointer off , cloths and cleaning stuff . Preferably something I can buy local . Cheers  barry . .

I'm a trad cleaner but have a wfp for fascia jobs that i connect the their mains tap.

why you would want to hand clean this job if you have the kit and advice on how to do it is beyond me, your not keeping it simple, your making it difficult unless there is something about the job you haven't said.

Agree with king  end up with a better job by hand just use pole for awkward bits what does it matter how long it takes if you charge a price what your happy with .

If doing by hand Nuclean and Tadgh's sponge pads .
does that stuff work . Cos I used virasol on it and that dosent . Well it couldn't shift the black stripes under the clips .

hi steve.... to do by hand use mild soapy water (fairy liquid is fine) and non scratch scourers (the white ones), any ingrained marks or staining i use this stuff  (i`ve used lots of different cleaners and have found this to be excellent)

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SOLVENT-CLEANER-PVC-UPVC-PVCu-WINDOWS-DOORS-CONSERVATORY-FASCIAS-CLEANING-1ltr-/360619622198?hash=item53f69abf36:m:mU27e-Kw_KtvMftyaLTbsKw

i have used WFP to clean Upvc  f/s/g  in the past, pre-spraying with virosol and from the ground looking up 20ft the results look ok!  but on closer inspection  it`s suprising how much dirt especially around the brackets and joints  is still there, and as already  mentioned using WFP won`t remove ingrained staining. i do all my fsg by hand where possible, just the areas that i cant get to with a ladder i will use WFP

I agree tony . To do a top job you need to get up close . Wfp is ok and can be hard work on fsg . I don't do many , I turn em down . But the ones I do I get the ladders off as long as it's safe .

I would agree with others if deep cleaning pvc/white painted aluminum etc for most effective results doing it by hand is best by far to really remove old ingrained soils. most effective pads for def on these type surfaces are magic eraser pads used damp in combination with your preferred cleaning chemical/cream/or paste.

Hi tadgh ,am I right in thinking the nuclean you sell is good to use on conny roofs , glass or polycarbonate as well as fsg . Got quite a few conny roofs lined up March , April time . Might give it a go . How do I buy it .

Hi Steven, yes NuClean is a game changer and probably the safest and most effective cleaning solution thats available for cleaning those type surfaces, this metabolic chemistry is new to europe and flying off the shelf so much so that the company who have the distributorship have been completely depleted of their NuClean stock, as we speak its on the ocean and should be available again within two weeks. if you like send me an email to info@jskcleaning.ie and i will keep you posted when its back in stock. cheers Tadgh

I still clean fascias/soffits/gutters by hand. I use soapy water (Fairy and vinegar) and wipe with an old applicator mop, then use damp and dry microfibre cloths to finish off. If it looks good up close, it's even better from the ground.

Just to share your above mentioned product is very corrosive if you check out the sds, especially on surfaces like pvc where it can dull frames, soffits, fascias, gutters etc, and will strip the natural sheen from these type surfaces if not used with extreme caution. there are many janitorial suppliers in the UK who can guide you towards cleaning solutions which would not be harsh/aggressive and allow you to clean pvc without causing any detrimental damage. Hope you may find this information to be of benefit. Tadgh
