Where can I get a 240v booster pump that will produce at least 80psi please.

Been given quotes from window suppliers and they're having a laugh with their prices.

It's so an auto fill system will have enough pressure to perform adequately.

Anyone else have one of these and what pump are you using?

I borrowed that exact pump from a mate for a week when mine died. Boosted my mains pressure from 35psi to 100psi..

This is the one I use, it has auto shut off and pressure gauge fitted. It's on right now, showing about 120psi.

The problem I'm experiencing is, I've had a 40'' RO fitted with one of these automated systems, but it needs high pressure to get a good reading from the RO. It creeps from the original flush producing around 9ppm to over 50 once it's been running a few hours.

Been told a decent pull will resolve this issue but I'm not paying £500 for the privilege. I'd rather produce the water manually.

Try Anglian pumping solutions

They do a good line of self priming pumps dab range for what you want is about £170.00
Been using mine for over 3 years

There was also a fleabay seller with polish built pumps on the dab design costing around £70 but I couldn't vouch for the quality

Have a look at Anglian Pumps as Smudger has said as that price sounds reasonable.
FYI that Machine Mart CBM 240E is the right pump for a 4040, there's a  few people on here that use them (me included) and I rate that pump highly both for performance and reliability.

Because of the lack of pressure the reading kept creeping up.

Without the automated system my RO was producing 9ppm but because of low pressure when using it, it looked like the pressure wasn't powerful enough each time it flushed

I've never used an automated system so I couldn't give you a definitive answer on that.
But I can say with confidence that the CBM240E has plenty of pressure.... and them some.
It's a Beast.

An ro should always have waste, I would look into that before you murder your membrane.

Yeah something isn't right.
Is your ball valve for the waste  closed too far?
Really you should be getting a ratio of 50/50 or thereabouts, shouldn't have more pure than waste because the membrane will take the hit and expire fairly rapidly.
However with all that said on 35 psi tap pressure you really do need a booster pump in my opinion because your 4040 membrane won't be performing anything like what is achievable with 80-100 psi pressure.
At the higher pressure it will purify water quicker and you should be getting a low Pure tds reading (in single figures).

I've been assured that this is how this kit works. God knows how.

That's the reason i need a decent pump.
