Most of our work is local in Ascot.  The unit is 5 minutes drive away. Saying that, today we are working in Gerrards Crosss, 15 miles away and then onto Amersham which is 21 miles away. Other far away bits we do are Wimbledon and Henley. All worth it though otherwise I wouldn't do it.  Don't mind the drive sometimes.

Farthest 12 miles.
Closest  1 mile.

Most 1 to 10 miles

I only have 2 days work in the town I live in (Aldershot), mainly because its a dive.
Most of my work is few miles away, Farnborough, Camberley and Woking.
Furthest is a day in iver heath, a row of mansions opposite pinewood studios (8weeklys) 35 miles away.
I like that day as the van gets a good run on the motorway, good for the particulate filter. Also I have to go up on the roof of one of the houses to clean a glass top, I can see right into pinewood studios. Sat and watched half an hour of the last star wars film getting shot.

My round is very compact. 99% of it is on an estate that is about one square mile and I live on it. My work vehicle did 600 miles between MOTs last year. If I wasn't WFP I could walk to most of it. I've worked it for nearly 40yrs

Brilliant! You are an inspiration. I thought I did well to get an average of 5,000 miles between MOT's on my van!

I do just over 6000 miles a year. Most of my work is within 1-2 miles, the furthest I travel regularly is 25 miles each way (every 2 weeks). I have one annual customer (a holiday home) 55 miles away.
