Hello,

Been given an awkward job to price on, company wants all external / internal glass cleaned. Plus if possible to remove any dust build up from the ceiling lights. 
I've attachedsome images to give you an idea of glass.

Any ideas would be great.  >

As ever, it depends.
Is WFP acceptable in that covered area?  Is it wooden decking as it can become slippery when wet?
How would you get to the internal lights safely?  Would the internal floor covering risk damage from the stepladder/tower or whatever means you choose to reach those lights?
I'm not asking for an answer here but they are things to condsider.
These may sound like detailed questions but sometimes the method used and the preparation can be more time consuming than the job.

No  wfp can't be used under the covered area. So it's all trad work. Apart from the front. But like you said. Setting up time is longer than the job.
Internal lights should be straight forward on a step ladder.
I was thinking day rate for this one. But it is an ongoing contract.

Sorry I didn't read your post , I just looked at the photo,
I would charge them £85.00  WFP,the,front, trad inside & dust of lights.
Should take you about hour and half for glass , as for the lights I cant say.

Best answer is to go in price wise what you feel the job is really worth to you inc any travel time etc.
I you don't get it at least that way you don't take on work that you regret and hate doing because you've gone in too cheap just to win the work.

i clean 2 large nurseries outside only but im sure you need something if your doing inside work.

I've priced numerous schools and nurseries in the last year unless there private the only thing they care about is price.
I have never been asked for crb or insurance one even said I could stand on a glass roof(which I declined) to access some Windows .
There only interested in price.

No, unless it has changed, you are not working with the kids, nor will you be left unsupervised with them as such.
