The exspensive click will always be the most popular and well use search terms, that's why the are expensive, everybody bids for them
I find......... *town* carpet cleaners or *town* carpet cleaning ( **** being the name of your local town) is the most well searched term, so cost the most ( £1.90 in my case) cheaper search terms are cheap for a reason..... they are rarely searched so no one bids On them.
I could delete popular search term from my campaign and half my cost but why delete the biggest search term? it would be counter-productive.
In the end it's all about the maths, my monthly cost are slightly more than my average job value so one job a month nearly pays for my Adwords campaign, 2 jobs means I break Even on all my costs, over 2 jobs and I'm in profit from the campaign. Unless I am so busy that I cannot fit in2 extra jobs a month then I might as well do Adwords ( unless the cost of Adwords is an amount that could be spent on other marketing that would bring in more than 2 jobs......but that's thoughts for another topic)
