I was asked to clean the inside of a conservatory and havent got a clue the best way to do it. Do I use an applicator and squeegee or is it best to use windowlene and scrim/microfibre? Please advise....................

hi. i always use applicter & squeeree, just dont over load app with too much water & wipe up nicely & you will have no probs.
one word of advice, when cleaning inside windows & conseratories, get them to clear cills etc, that way you cant get cought out breaking or damaging something, also makes it quiker.
hope that helos.

i find, if there is carpet inside the conservatory, then squeegee and applictor is usually too messy. I find a wet scrim, and a dry microfibre is the best way to clean the inside of con rooves. I think £30 is a little cheap, as it is a pain to do! And most people are only too willing to pay someone else to clean in insides

I'm obviously far too cheap looking at some of your prices!
I do the inside of a conservatory roof every other month and charge £15 for that portion of the job. I also charge them £15 for the outside of the conservatory roof, which I do every month and is 20 minutes work.
The whole job is £48, they're excellent customers and it takes me 1hr 20 minutes from pulling up to packing away; so I'm happy with the price-to time-to effort ratio. I'd love to have five similar jobs like that everyday.
Anyway, I did it this afternoon and timed myself.
I use step-ladders, scrim and a spray for the roof.

Applicate and squeege. We always put a decorators dust sheet down, paper one side and plastic the other. soaks up the water and doesn't go through.
Price up 50% more than your current hourly.
