Ashbys Enforcer or Cleansmart Storm?
« on: December 17, 2015, 11:39:23 am »
Ahbys Enforcer or Cleansmart Storm which would you choose ?  I have the Storm of which I am very happy with  and since owning Scorpions I do prefer the in parallel set up , but sometimes wished the storm had a built in heater ! Saying that you see quite a few Enfocers for sale but not so many Storms , why is this ?
I bought the storm because of the excellent build quality, the fact you can get at all the major components in minutes and the vac motors are set in parallel and it was a nice light machine
I know Russ and Steve Gunn are very happy with there inforcers and Steve has told me its the best machine he has ever owned
so why are there so many Enforcers coming up for sale ?

Currently wading my way through all the discussions on this and particularly looking at anything re the enforcer (stupid name for a carpet cleaning machine but never mind.  big cats or weather events aren't any better).  My Prochem machine is due an upgrade.

I like the onboard heat and a single plug for everything else.
The most hose I'm likely to need is 100' - mostly 50' is enough though I used 75' yesterday.
Enforcer seems very ergonomic with some good design touches.

I like that some other machines have a drop hose for external feed.
The portable industry seems to have gone towards parallel rather than series vacs for top end machines.

But mostly my deliberations go round in circles.  The only definate is not anything by Prochem.
I should really get a demo on each of the possibles but that is a lot of time travelling & not earning.

I really like the look of the alltec machines, and there's still the option of built in heat. Though they are the dearest and heavy I believe. I would like to try one before buying anything else

After trying the Airflex in parallel and series it is clear to me that parallel is better even though I was a staunch believer in series before that. I have never had an enforcer but it looks like a nice machine though. There are probibly loads of enforcers for sale because people buy a machine but can't get enough work to run a business.

I have 2 alltec advanced 600psi and 1200psi and all I can say is how brilliant they are ,they look amazing
very reliable and the performance is 2nd to none I would have no hesitation in buying another one.
also the staff are excellent as well you always get what you pay for there may be cheaper machines on
the market but they just don't compare imo happy cleaning

Stuart, the Enforcer is now available with parallel vac option as well as in series, plus choice of 5.7, 6.6 and 7.2 vacs.  I have used an Enforcer for 3 years now and am just about to order another but may choose the parallel vac option this time.

So are they keeping it secret ? nothing on their Fb or website . Always thought they could shift more units if they just offered a parallel option .  Would interesting to see what kinda of manfold they use to join to the vac connected to the waste tank . Or are both vacs on the floor ... hmm

Series gives double lift and airflow of 1 vac
Parallel double airflow and waterlift of 1 vac
Parallel machines better for longer hose run.

Your right  !
must be new thing  :D

I see its almost with a degree of reluctance  , they still recommend  the  'in series ' version .
So they are also sticking with the one power cord thing mostly , so u get one hd and one sd in parallel also ...
so business as usual on the modifying front , just rip out the SD motor and replace  :)

I will definitely buy one if they are in parallel ! Would prefer 6.6 motors but what the heck electro would be just as good
I wouldn't go for 7.2s as I would be going back in time, Extracta fitted them to there machines and they were not reliable
I've had my Storm six months now and I haven't had a jot of trouble with the 6.6 motors ! Touch wood

Whoa !  ...  they are really going for the Storms jugular .

Immersion heater on detachable third cord i did not envisage .
Gotta love the twin exhausts ...      nice for attaching a parallel booster  !

I can see lots of storms coming up for sale   :D

Not saying the Enforcer or storm are bad machines, but they are just all plastic boxes with vac motors and pumps in. Not sure if I would swap one for the other.

I think the next true innovation should be a  UK designed and built ETM for uk electrics and the uk market.  As most jobs are within 50 - 150 ft of hose from a van the technology is out there to make this happen quite easily... ..... basicly just need some bigger tanks and propane heat.  Maybe I should do it then.......... that if you don't get there first John ;D

Robin. Etm with propane heater would be too expensive. Would prefer to buy proper tm then for a few thousands more.
Do you remember the price of mytee escape? Put the heater there and how much it would be? For 2-3k more you would have a TM.
