i was looking at this piece of  pressure reducer, has anyone used this one before as it looks great for £8.50p. No, RN0090, iv never seen this before.


also  does this solinoid do roughly the same as the variflow, its only £22 each

would the pressure reducer be a constant reduction, therefor would this be a problem? bear in mind im a wfp wannabe!
solinoid sound worth an experiment!!  ;D

Solonoid's work as an electrically controlled on-off water valve, so I doubt if it would work like a variflow, besides your pump would still be running full bore without needing to. Even if you got a motorised valve to give you a variable flow rate, you'd still need to devise/build some electronic control for it and the pump.
