What part do I need to fix my wand?
«
on:

Can anyone help identify what I need to fix this leaky fitting on my wand? No idea what it's called or what I need to buy
I want to replace thick blue flexI piece that has the hose coupling on..as it's leaking where it joins the wand. I've bodged it for a while by crimping the metal at the end but it keeps popping off now.
Any ideas what I need?
Thanks

U could get new piece made at your local pirtek?
Or cant you just remove I and connect the male connection straight to the wand?

Thats an Extracta wand. You can't fix the quick connect direct as the inlet is on the bottom although it would probably just screw onto the fitting the hose goes onto.
Alternatively we have brackets to adapt these wands so they can take a normal K Valve which are much better quality.

Hi Adam, here's the valve you need, bin the short piece of blue pipe & attach the male quick connect directly into it.
Better still get yourself a new one from restormate,Extracta wands are poope, you won't regret it mate.

weve fixed loads of these before
you need- 1 x 1/8 male -1/4" female reducer
1 x 1/4-1/4" male
screw 1/4 into female 1/4, that leaves you with 1/8 one end 1/4 the other
screw 1/8 into right angle at bottom of valve, screw male fitting on other end
bobs your uncle fanny your aunt
