Why buy a machine and replace all the most expensive parts ? surley it would be better to just buy a better machine to start with ?

Would like that heater setup on mine but I imagine it adds a few kgs.

Also seems to be running 2x 1700 w motors and a 500psi pump on one cord. Can't be safe??

think id rather wait and see what the storm looks like in about two years when im ready to upgrade....    must admit i would love some built in heat though...  i reckon solution wise 800 psi is much more than enough, (for me) so maybe some in built heater and whatever the latest spec hoovers will be will do me,  longer runs, more suction, bring it on......... 100 foot is long enough on most jobs for me, i  rarely need more, but it would be good to have the option. Be really intersting to see how things progress portable wise in next few years...............

I would have thought it is 2 x 1650w Electros. I have that set up with a 400 psi pump. It is extremely powerful vacuum for a porty. It really should be on two cords though.  I have a video of it operating at 100ft somewhere I will try to upload it tommorow.

Its pretty cool what he did , i can only imagine the time he put into it , none of that custom stuff is quick . Wonder how he charges for that , i would want the price of the portable again lol . Im trying to finish a new booster and its slow stuff .
I agree with Robin , likely to be two HD electros , probably in series .   The remote is cool , i would question the need for an audible low level cut out warning ...  just have a low level cutout like Ashbys .
The audible warning for waste tank ? needed ?  anyway is a great job whoever he is .
Still wouldnt trust that switch panel outside in showers , i had the Enforcer outside i storm conditions all day today , really like that showerproof  feature .

Not quite as good as Johns new booster but this little vid I made on my phone shows 2 Electro HDs running at 100ft with plenty of airflow.

Nice , its like a russ chadd production   :D  those are good motors alright . I think u switched to parallel . They were giving plenty of airflow in series too at 100ft

Could you run to electro hds in a enforcer or would you be pulling to many amps?
Nice set up robin!
Does your emersion heater run off a standard 13amp plug?

Iv being doing that for last year ...   its no problem really and add a good bit of grunt .
Im switching to 6.6 in the enforcer mainly because i got them at a good price and just to try them in general .

Are the 6.6 smaller or bigger? Will the performance be the same as the 2 electros

Hi Luc, Yes the immersion heater does run off a standard 13 amp plug. Here is a little video of the setup a little closer up (production not so good this time though). I still have to insulate the tank. I did have a 500l tank and a 125l tank in the back but have simplified the system so it runs off of one single 350l tank.

Yes John I have switched over to parallel, I personally feel I get better results that way but horses for courses. Luc you can just add one more HD Electro in your enforcer if you want. This is essentially what I have from a wiring point of view. It is drawing too much power though technically. I may add another cord at some point as it does worry me a little sometimes.

wider , about the same length . There should be a more airflow with the 6.6 but less lift .
could you notice the difference , im not sure yet , need to play around with them .
There is a bit of tweaking to get the 6.6 in , this is a pic of mine with the spacers fitted .  Still have to do the bottom one . Its easier certainly to stick in another HD electro .
The electros i used were conical topped but otherwise similar to the usual HD electro . Not sure if youd notice the difference between the two .

Thanks for the video of your set up Robin.. Been looking at doing this for a while now.

Sounds powerful at the wand even at 75ft  ;)

Spoke to Matt at cleansmart about upgrading my machine a little. I was tempted by a booster but at £450+vat it seemed over priced.

His response was that he'd just listed them at a sale price of £299 +vat so I went ahead and ordered one.

I was considering getting a 6.6 manifold and vacs, and converting to 2 cords. I do hate wires tho, for those jobs where access is tight and you trip over them all. So I can use 1 cord on those jobs, and 2 for bigger jobs and longer hose runs.

I do have a water tank, and a labourer, so I can auto fill if I want, and he can do the waste tank duties :)
