Orbiter loose power connection
« on: November 25, 2015, 10:22:40 am »
My Oreck Orbiter has deveoped a dodgy  connection where the power lead goes into the machine. Any advice? I assume you unscrew the screws underneath and access from there.

Cheers  ;D

Same here funnily enough...I assume that's what it is anyway on the Floormac...it's happened once before but can't remember how I took it apart.
Impossible done straight away, miracles can take a little longer.

Have been fixing it twice. For the first time theres enough cable to use the old one, next time need to exchange the full lengh, its easy enough.

On the floormac you unscrew the 4 screws at the bottom and unscrew the handle from the machine and the engine room comes out with all the wiring.......tend to have to check out the wiring and tighten things up every 8 or 9 months then it's ok again...easy peasy really.
