Smudger, how much do those poles cost each?
Snapped pretty much in the middle of the section . The thing is i dint like the tapered poles anyway , they twist as you try to use them , particularly the end tool , in my opinion they are not really up to the job .

For what they are which is nothing special to be honest are still good value in my book and still a darn site easier to use than omnivac aerospace grade t1 aluminium poles for sure.I had alloy ones to start with and they were far too heavy , the gutter extreme clamped carbon poles come to nearly 600 for 6 sections plus 150 for the end tool and adapter !
The wheels obviously cost £70 smurf!!!
Avo if I get time I will take some pics and upload some tomorrow
we use the 10th section (goes onto an extreme 47 and its still modular)http://gardinerpolesystems.co.uk/all-products/water-fed-poles/extension-sections-for-telescopic-poles/the-new-slx-extension-sections-10.htmlUsed them for years and work well, only thing we did was to replace the plastic inserts at the bottom with metal instead of plastic.

Is this rite so could extended 47 by 6' ......... And would it be that you could use this again as 2 x number 10 would give you a further 12' Sorry if it sounds daft but I paid £200 x 2 for extentions for the 47 and am just on the verge of having another 2 to take me to 70' region Using these would give a decent saving
Pretty much same as smurf for the polesMine fit into a fishing rod bag, cost me £20 off eBay Darran
Was a good while back I'll see what I can findDarran

Hi Robert - thank you for your feedback - feel free to email us directly to discuss your issue you had with the pole. The carbon adaptors are more expensive as they are taken from a standard section and reworked, hence the cost. You could however go for the plastic adaptor that is found in our spares section : https://www.grippatank.co.uk/vacuum/accessories-sparesLook forward to hearing from you,
