It wasn't me mate; it was them   window fitters/builders/snaggers/glass manufacturers/diamond ring wearing cleaners* wot dun it!

Saying the problem is sometimes not detectable until the damage has already been done doesn't sit right
with me, wouldn't have that in the waiver.
Sometimes the damage is not detectable until the glass has been cleaned would have been better.

Ha ha :)

Thanks guys. The lady has had a go at cleaning the windows herself after getting the house built and there are scratches all over them. I pointed them out to her when I was there and again on email and said I would need to get a scratch waiver signed.
