risk assessments /method statements !!
« on: November 04, 2015, 12:03:32 pm »
Hi Guys,
Does anyone have a copy of a risk assessment/method statement( or an idea where to see an example of one). I have been told by my insurance company that I don't need this necessarily for domestic work, but may need it for larger jobs ie commercial work where there is a bit more involved.
Can anyone provide some ideas on this as to where to find out about it, I have been told my insurance may not be valid without having these in place.
Many thanks in advance
Steve

You can just edit this one to how you want it that will give you a rough idea what you need.
Sorry the forum will not let me upload a word doc so is in pdf instead.

Cheers Smurf. That's good timing, I'm filling out a supplier questionnaire.
Now for 3 references! :-\

It's amazing what you can find to download from the interweb you know.

Just don't leave Premier Cleaning  in and edit that as well as you will notice has been left in one paragrah by mistake

No probs all the same ;D

Hi Smurf, sorry to pester you again on this, but any chance you could forward this as a word document to my email address. I ve tried to convert the pdf but its not working. Would be good if I could have it in word so I can change the wording etc .
Many thanks
Steve

DO NOT do as I did yesterday. Downloaded a gutter cleaning doc and saved it, made my own with letter head and similar layout but 75% had the same wording.
I then attached the saved folder "gutter cleaning method statements" and sent an email containing the other document!

Oops! I bet you felt a right plonker having to explain yourself out of that one but can be easily done all the same.
I find it always best before sending any emails with attachment is when they are attached to the email open them first to check they are correct before hitting the send button.
