Hi I have to put together prices for cleaning my brothers warehouse & office end of let deep clean. I am ok quoting on the carpets and hard floor cleaning but unsure about best way to get quote right for the building deep clean should I do a price per square metre or base on how many hours etc I think it will take? I would be grateful for help on this.

Lisa , depends on how quick you are at cleaning ? if not that quick or unsure then i'd price by the hour

Lisa, I have to agree with Jim on this.

You my have a rough idea regards the time it would take to do the deep clean and be more inclined go for a fixed price, over an hourly rate.

However from my own experience of  deep cleaning factory's and offices over the years, I would go for an hourly rate, as the fairest option.  In my experience it will always take longer to do a through deep clean than you may at first have thought when you looked over the job and priced it.  As you begin the deep clean, you will find a lot of things you may not have budgeted for in your initial survey and quotation.

To do a through deep clean will take a lot of time, speaking from my own personal experience.

Go for hourly charge and over estimate. Let client know how much per hour extra the service will cost if it does take longer.
Pricing can be good but you could under price. Hourly is fair. Good luck with the clean.

Depends on the size of the floor,  access, power, what it is constructed of and what machinery you have?  What may take you 40 Hours I may complete in a day!!!
