OK Guys
I made a really crappy video about abseiling if you remember and I only spoke about abseiling and video'd my new car.

Does it rank on Google? - Number 2 on a video search - not brilliant but it ranks - Try it by googling - abseiling window cleaners London.

OK so we really want to rank on a web search so lets try a web search on google for - Render Cleaning Poole - from where I am sat we DOMINATE the whole page nearly - and maybe that is why we get lots of calls specifically from that area - even though we are based nowhere near Poole.

We have had lots of pro videos made - they did not work so well - people seem to like home made because they know its real?

Of course google listens - it loves Meerkats 

Budget for Adwords - each year more than most of you turn over I would think as well as many other forms of SEO tricks for the website - we do a lot ourselves and outsource some to other companies - Our new website should be ready by X Mas and we are hopeful of doubling in size (and Profit) during 2016 - watch this space.

Many of you could vastly increase your own income by keeping things simple (*t***d) 

It really does not matter who does or Does NOT like the videos - some will and some won't but hey - they are there working for me for free!

You can see my employees in our own Access Platform Doff Steam Cleaning the facade  - we also provided chewing gum removal and have quoted for on going window cleaning - we only approached them once by visiting - but they received relevant information from us automatically for two years - it works!

Most people who know me - know I usually spend 16 weeks a year on holiday - rather than working (except for this year due to unexpected serious ill health within my family which has prevented us from going anywhere) My point is - running a business should give you the opportunity to be free from working hard within your business - you only need to learn how to pay others to work hard for you.

Ok if someone is looking for your service in Poole, but you aren't on the first three pages for "render cleaning" or "render cleaning newbury".  So nationally you aren't doing well on Google for that search term. Let's face it, it's a niche area so any barely competent SEO specialist should be able to achieve that for you. I'm quite certain I could. Your problem is that you think you know it all and you won't listen to anyone.

Thanks for the invite but I'm busy with my own business. You don't need a new website, you just need slightly less spammy versions of the text you have in your videos in text format on your webpage. My website is very basic. I just did a quick free two page Weebly one three years ago and have done nothing since. I'm no web designer. Websites aren't important for domestic window cleaning in my opinion, but you're welcome to look. www.newburywindowcleaner.co.uk

My SEO work was for an audiobook website which was 2nd or 3rd on Google for the search term audio books for three years. It was a dying business though because of Audible.

Purplerhino, there is no video on the linked page for Poole. It does well because of the text:

It does and that is why the videos rank organically on the web search than the case study page - well they do when I search anyway

JESUS! Did you not read the Google help screen above that I linked to that states that Google can not see your videos? I'm banging my head against the wall!!

I appear to have a better web presence than thou does?? - I have over 350 FREE videos working and I have proof that I have gained a lot of business through the videos alone - without the website. One Custy saw a video and called us and we did a £20k cladding clean for him - he has now booked another 6 call centres - so sorry but THEY DO WORK and it was the Meerkat voice that made the client think - they will be a team of grafters! Eastern Europeans LOL

Free to make and Free to air - enough said?

Your business is national and mostly commercial and therefore merits a decent web presence. Mine is domestic and my marketing effort is a daily leaflet drop of two hours. The issue is that if you focussed on getting your text right in conjunction with your videos you would do a lot better - however crap they are.

Nah, try People per Hour. It does need content though. Do believe me that your keywords are niche and it never ought to be hard to get to page one nationally for them with some half decent content. And the Poole one is doing well because it has good content. Nothing to do with a video, except that Google does like it that you have videos. So with some good content you would do a lot better than someone without videos.

I think I also once spoke with your wife (maybe somebody else) explained what to do in Full. I was taking a few cleaners to Bulgaria at the time for a weekend on "how to grow their businesses"  maybe you/she remembers/maybe not?

Personally I love helping smaller businesses grow and understand "how to" - mainly because I believe that the better we ALL make the industry the BETTER it will be for ALL of us I'm pushing 50 and have been at it over 30 years - 98% of the time running my own businesses. I have a lot to give...........
