Dog urine.
« on: October 28, 2015, 04:36:45 pm »
2nd job today was a living room booked off Google, gave a quote over the phone.

I always ask "why they are having the carpet cleaned and do they have any specific areas of concern"  she told me it's just a straight forward clean.

as soon as I walked in I could smell the dog urine... It absolutely stunk!!  She then tells me the dog has been peeing on the carpet and that's why they were having it cleaned.

I told her I would quite happily  clean the carpet but no way would it get rid of the smell, she was quite indignant  that I could'nt guarantee to get rid of the smell.

So I said...... "Would you like me to show you why cleaning the carpet won't get rid of the smell" .....yes she said

This is why.......even the floor was sodden with the urine, I ripped up the underlay which you could squeeze  the urine out of.
