Hi again all what are the best low or non ph powdered pre sprays to use I curently use craftex products the likes of champion is high ph ect but is very good to use looking for a low or non ph pre spray that is good in dirty marks traffic land areas ect thank you all
Powdered detergent mixes are generally on the alkaline side because the usually ingredients like sodium carbonate are alkaline , so u probably wont find a neutral powder .
Ultimate master is around PH 9.5 and the more u dilute it the more it will head towards 8 or so .
I use it on wool and everything and never have an issue , so it would be a suitable allrounder compared to the High PH powder presprays .
You currently use liquid presprays that are designed to be high PH 11-13 . So you want to replace those with lower PH versions to use generally .
I would say chemspec heavy duty soil lifter would be a good lower PH replacement but effective spotter and traffic lane cleaner .
Also the citrus presprays by alltec or restromate for lighter general use .
Ultimate master powder or perhaps forumla 90 powder for general use , i dont put those powders in a spraycan if using them as a prespray , its easier to put a bit in your machine cleantank and prespray using a spray lance .
So perhaps switch to the above for general use and keep your high PH craftex products and others like enzall onboard for the <10% of jobs that might require them .
Too much is made of the PH thing imo ... all u need to do is avoid high ph products on fancy house wool
I worked in a laboratory before and we didnt mention PH much at all compared to carpet cleaners !
