EDDM: Every Door Direct Mail does anyone do this?
Sat around doing very little with my foot up I have been looking at new marketing.
So the idea of this is you target an area with an oversized post card.
Actually works out more expensive than leaflet pence per leaflet/card but is the response better. Anyone tried it thanks

The only people using over sized postcard up my way are gypsies looking for driveway and tree work. It's known when a card comes through the letter box that is who is sending it.

Not a clue, Like i said, i don't put out flyers. This was someone else's.

In all fairness the client did ring the guy with the flyer and left a message as he didnt answer the phone, but luckily for me he didnt even return the call. so he googled carpet cleaning and there i was, called me, booked me and i cleaned his carpets, all thanks to someone elses hard work and marketing.

Beggars belief why anyone would do a leaflet campaign and then ignore his phone or answer phone, Crazy.

He could have been busy or even packed up or on his holiday, I always take phone with me to the toilet I have booked in work while sitting you can always guarantee it rings when you're least expecting it.

You will be surprised how many carpet cleaners don't answer the phone straight away but builders,  plumbers ect are even worse. Most building type tradesmen won't turn up to quote when they are supposed to either but that's another story!  >:(

Allan has helped me no end. Just half an hour on the phone made a couple of suggestions and got immediate results. Well next day and nearly 3 hours tbh but great bloke.
