Looks like some one has been at it with the vanish!

Rinse the area with normal cold water first. Then try some acid at 8:1 dwell for a while (10mins) and rinse. Then try some citrus gel the same way and rinse. Then try some pog then rinse, and if any thing is left after all this chemspec dyegone, or some sod met and a heat transfer method. Do not rub the carpet at any point! If necessary leave to dry off for a while before continuing. Don' t be afraid to leave it and admit defeat as a bigger light spot with distorted pile may look a lot worse. The stain may never come out.

I would highly recommend getting on a spot and stain removal course asap. It will pay for itself a thousand times over and your custys will think you are a cleaning god with some of the techniques you will learn. I think the cleansmart course is good as Derek Bolton is not afraid to tell you different methods you may not learn else where.

We have the same problems with our wool carpets. I agree that it's really difficult to clean it by myself.  I tried almost everything methods.  For me, there are two varianty-1) order cleaning service ( w e use cleaning servise http://anylondonwaste.co.uk/ once a month) or 2) throw them away. If you have another varianty tell me please.

Guys we need to educate customers that there is a big difference between cleaning and restoring.  and should reflect in our price. customer are not silly. why claim when they can get you to take the risk from them.  I am sure you all understand about substance on a yarn and correction. spot or stain.

The thing is 90% of the time that's why we are there. They want the stain gone.It is all part of the service (or it should be). What we have to do is manage their expectations.
