The set up fee was a lot. Apparently, this is easily negotiable from other threads I've read.
But I made the set up fee and more back in the first month. I've just put a cap of £200 on my adwords spend as it was creeping out of control every month. The responses have gone a bit down hill the last few months.

Will see how it pans out, and decide whether to continue or not.

I've seen quite a few threads regarding this. It's worked for some, not for others. If you can negotiate a good set up fee it's worth  a punt. Or you could learn adwords yourself.

Also, a lot of people complaining about sales from it. At the end of the day, they feed you leads. It's up to you to convert. Some people don't quite grasp this idea.

I don't get on with all this techy stuff and have very little time in the evenings to do it, so I have been using the search marketing company who do it all for me.

I pay £90 fee a month to manage it, but tbh it's been ticking over nicely with no changes for a few months which I am happy with.

I was paying £2-£3.50 per click prior to this, my adwords was £250 a month on average.
Now my adwords is £100-£130 +£90 fee,  but I don't spend 2-3 hours a week kidding myself I know what I'm doing, and I seem to be gettin better enquiries and a better conversion off them.

The search marketing shop I think it's called, can't remember who recommended to me it was either a member here or on ct.

It took 2-3 month of adjustments to get the ad working to a level I'm pleased with and ween out alot of price shoppers and time wasters.

For what it costs I would sooner have the time tbh
