I use Gardiner  angle adapter as
http://gardinerpolesystems.co.uk/all-products/water-fed-poles/goosenecks-pole-fittings/plastic-gooseneck-system/quick-loq-resi-neck-type1-swivel.html

This has a predrilled hole for the pole hose to exit inline with the pole length.

I notice in your video that you drill a hole in the top of your adapter which you then fit a hose stay to. This  creates a right angle in the pole hose which stops it pulling out when you release the valve at the bottom of the pole.

Would I need to drill a new  hole in the  Gardiner fitting or can it work with the existing hole and your hose stay?

Hope I've explained that well enough to understand.

If you crimp a o-ring in place, this is sufficient, to hold the hose in place.

This is a statement on Gardiner website "We do not recommend the use of an Aquadapter or similar devices on Xtreme Poles - select our pole flow valve option if required" just to let all know that this statement does not apply to uni-valve.

I can understand why Alex doesn't like the Aquadapter or the Aquatap.  At height our A/D does add quite a weight to the end of the pole. So all the work Alex is doing with regard to brush weights is being undone by us adding extra weight with another accessory.

My SIL's SLX22 was so much lighter when he removed his A/D when the lever arm spring broke. But his tap contraption he put together on his base pole was the pits.

I'm looking forward to this new Univalve.
