Hopefully it will fit inside no.1 section of a gardiners pole, if that's the case Steve has done well, I wanted to fit a small inline filter in mine to protect the jets but nothing would fit that had the correct size barbs.

Defo put me down for one, as above I like my toys 😛😛😛😜

I was wondering the same thing Darran, but look at the size of the "o clip" or "ear clip" (whatever it's called ) that is holding the blue hose onto the barb.

The uni-valve looks just a little bit bigger. Should easily fit inside a no1 section.

Only potential problem I see is by pulling the hose you could disconnect it from the brush head.(unless Steve has thought of this already) but then again if the mechanism is quite loose and easy to work, then a push fit at the brush head should be able to with stand the tug.

From the video, there's no external movement, so in theory you could bond in a step washer or collar that stops the valve body  moving backwards therefore no strain on the hose/connections on the brush side

Looks awesome .
Won't it need to be secured within the pole .
Not fussed about the ins n outs , I will just enjoy using it

Darran,
Yes its designed to fit in the top section.
A gardiner pole is 19mm inside dia, and univalve is 17mm  outside dia.
Anywhere in the top section, top or bottom.
But it can be outside the pole also.
No more damage to the valve, and definitely no broken springs.
The uni-valve is around 3in long x 17mm wide, and weighs around 10 to 12 grms.

[/quote Hi Jonny,  all you need to do is crimp a o-ring above the hose outlet, on your pole, this works a treat.

Hopefully i can get all to convert to tubeless with valve incorporated, This video shows how to convert a pole to tubeless, and in the video, notice the mention  of the hose stay (video is boring mind), be warned.

The first mouldings will be off the tool in around 5 weeks, so if all well about 1 week after that.

Steven have you pre booked your island in the Caribbean yet?

I think if the uni-valve is as good as it looks then you will be able to buy one in a few months.  ;)
