clean talk banning
« on: September 26, 2015, 10:36:29 am »
Hi
To all those people who have been banned from clean talk.
Did they email you to let you know or did your password suddenly stop working.
I never log out and have a short cut on phone to it and this one but 2 days ago I was logged out and can't remember password so requested password reset twice but nothing has come through.
Regards Sean

I had a message from Nick to say I was banned after the password stopped working.

The best thing is to send him a message but he probably is able to get on this forum or others tell him what is said on here so he will know of your post.

I have sent messages but no reply
And as we all know him and quite a few clean talkers scan this site for any world of clean negative comments  I thought putting the question on here is as good as emailing him.

Don't forget it's Nicks forum so nicks rules you (like me) will have over stepped the mark, you could ask him what you have done wrong and apologise or you can move on.

Nick said I was lying when I said I'd been banned, after my password stopped working the day after I did something - I think I was saying truck mounts were good, or something. Just coincidence, apparently.

Use the search bar at the top right of the page and search ''Cleantalk''. Banning has been going on for years.

Personally, I don't give anyone the time of day who has control issues.

Have to agree I prefer this unbiased site.
Just show the level of the man if he just bans me without contacting me and giving the reasons why.

Update!!!
Just received email from Nick and it goes like this.
"? Not sure why you would want to go on CT as it's so biased and solutions based. Well that's what you have said elsewhere".

Still waiting for reply too "so is that a yes then?"

So according to him it's not!!!
But yet you cannot mention alltec cleans mart, chemspec restore mate  on there because if you do it defaults to "another supplier" and obviously i imagined the email he sent me stating "CT is a platform for solutions not any other suppliers"
Fair enough he brought the site so he can do what he likes.
Just makes me laugh and I guess I won't hear from him again but I won't be losing sleep about it and  nor will he.

There are plenty of good suppliers in this country ( Alltec chemspec restormate prochem and others) who make and supplier brilliant products.

Just deal with them.

I like this forum can mention any product even solutions without getting shot down in flames.

I think Sean has it sussed, of course Nick won't lose any sleep and why should he, CT is a platform for solutions and not any other suppliers,  in the main Nick promotes his own solutions and machines and fair play to him as he has built up over many years a thriving and successful business model. i can never understand when guys get so upset if banned, some will, some won't,so what, just live with it and move on.

i think basically when something like this happens you aren't banned - you are just sort of on a temporary suspension or a cooling off period if you like.

Then Nick waits to see your response and i think hopes that you will contact him and things are then resolved amicably and you carry on.

Or you can react like you have and then that backfires but i suppose Nick see's it as a problem gone away.

I will give Nick his due - as far as i am aware he is the only supplier that has the balls to run a forum dedicated to his business, many advertise on one but i am sure a lot would'nt want the hassle that comes with having their very own.

To be fair nothing thing has backfired at all as it doesnt really bother me. More to life than CT. But nothing has been said on CT as when on there you play by the rules.
But this is a site that you can put real experiences and real opinions on, if he had real faith in his products and services why would he be on here checking up on people.

its the world we live in now, Apple, Google, Amazon all have there walled gardens. its the old get yourself a herd and build a wall so they cant get out.

I bought some films on Google and when I wanted to close that google account and download them, discovered they where not mine to do so. bought some music from amazon only downloadable if you use their app, you can do it one song at a time, and its in their vesion of the format.

I heard a story of a guy waiting to get on a plan. he does not have a good time with the airline staff so tweets it out. they would not let him on the plan until he removes the tweets.

In the USA coms company's pay people on commission to stop people leaving. thats a never ending phone call.

Today google maps will not let me use the nav unless i agree that it can send stuff to google even  when  the apps no in use.

terms and conditions and permissions on our phones are just spies. its no wonder that when you turn on a computer, tablet or phone it takes so long, got to contact the mother ship first -)

the old sayng customer for life has a new meaning

Respects

I have mentioned Alltec on CT often and always found Nick to be ok. At the end of the day it is his forum selling his products. I know Nick gets bad press on here and elsewhere but he has always been fair to me.
I have stopped going on CT now, but not anything to do with Nick.  My choice if you are not happy with things then change them if you cant change it change yourself and nove on life is too short. After all it isnt real life concentrate on your business put all that energy into developing yourself and your business not someone elses.

I have always felt these anti cleantalk posts are a conspiracy to get members to go and have a look and use cleantalk

did you know alltec are also a chemical manufacturer, could they be making some chemicals for them, so they are a little bit more relaxed about using their name,

that is just a complete theory mind you, I have no evidence of this what so ever,

I've had my issues with Nick, but in all fairness to him and solutions, some of their chems are good, and  he will at times go out of his way completely to help people.
