telescopic ladders arrived.

what a bit of kit, a must. ok, they dont come off the van often but the odd times they do, WHAT A PAIN, these when closed are 19" x 32", nice & sturdy too. ;D.

total cost with postage £94.90
on Ebay or phone no 01277627107.

just going to retire ladders to garage.  :'(

i ment ladders being a pain, not these, sit in the corner & take seconds to put up & down.  ;D

hi, 12.5 feet max extended lenth with 225lb working load. macc

Iv`e had mine for about 2 months now and it`s a very handy ladder for gaining access,i would never actually work from it,
i used it on monday and as i was lowering it i got distracted by a very nice lady passing by and pinched my finger(ouch)  :-[ so be careful,Gaz ;)

hi

not sure if you have the same type as me ( telesteps with round round rubber feet).
if they are the same DO NOT USE WD40 to mantain they .
its nothing to do with slipping off them , its just that they have some plastic insde to stop each section going to high. wd40 melts this plastic stop so if not carefull now they fall apart as i pull them up.

also the feet will wear out very quick , expensive to replace , if you even find a place that sells them.  i fitted different feet now set at 75 degrees .

but all said ...still great ladders for the odd use.

hi dave, not sure i would work off them full time, im wfp so i use them for access, saying that i would have brought a set if i had known. macc.

thanks for that important advice, had mine nearly a year, the sections dont glide as freely when closing like they once did when new, got any tip on what to use to maintain if not wd40?

I do use mine ocassionally to work off but thats not normally to its full 3.8 mtr height, usually for just high gf windows by hand or access, very versatile piece of kit ;)
