Weather men.
« on: September 16, 2015, 03:47:18 pm »
I've noticed just lately that the weathermen are getting the forecast wrong quite a few times! Take last night for example every forecast including my local one said we would be getting a months rain in a day today! Well I've worked all day today in a t-shirt and its almost 4pm and sun is still out!  ??? ???

The weather forecasts are that useless I've stopped even looking at the forecast. I do my own looking at the sky at night, Wake up and,if it's not absolutely bouncing it down, off I go.

i go out even if its bouncing down first thing.by the time i get to work it usually eases off or stops completely. :)

ive not done that for years!i used to though.crap isnt it?just go out in future even if its bouncing down.trust me 9 times out of 10 the weather improves enough to crack on most of the time by the time you get to work.

No point mate as the rain would have ruined all your work. You did the right thing.

The rain will not ruin any work - that is an old wifes tail.............
I guarantee you that it is BETTER to clean in the rain rather than the sunshine :o

An excerpt from my book "Let your windows do the talking"

"When is the best time to clean windows?
Surprisingly – in the rain! When it is raining there is no dust flying around – “wet dust cannot fly” and cannot therefore stick to glass.
Rainwater is very clean – much cleaner than tap water and will NOT affect the window cleaning process.
When it is sunny and windows are being cleaned the windows are left wet – dust particles can easily “stick” to the glass helped by the water and the dry environment around the building."
