Anyone know where I can buy an auto shut off for use with 40/40 RO into static tank? Or explain how it works?

Hi JD, For a 4040 ro you would need one of theses http://www.purefreedom.co.uk/water-purification/spares-fittings/auto-shut-off-kit.html.

I also had a look about for something simular to this but is not suitable for a 4040 ro as would need 1/2 inch connectors not 1/4

I've recently put one in myself, you will need a drill bit that cuts holes. Phone them up to get advice. Works great though. Such a nice sound as the pump fires up when I start to fill the van.  ;D

PF make/do one for a 4040. A fellow windie has a complete system which includes an auto shutoff.

Is that the one you don't need power spruce?

Its the same as that one linked and has 1/2" connectors. I presume its the same one. Power reducer/transformer, solenoid valve and float switch.

You can use an electronic controller on your booster pump.
https://www.machinemart.co.uk/shop/product/details/clarke-epc800-electronic-water-pump-control-un

or

Splice a 12v 100 amp relay into the supply cable to the solenoid,  The relay will then act as a switch to switch the booster pump on and off at the same time as the solenoid valve.
