Not used either GG yet even though wfping tops and trad bottoms.

Just wondering at moment i use for trad downstairs a touch of fairy and vinegar, works well!

I want to try this GG stuff!
Should i use gg3 with pure water, or GG4 with tap water? Bearing in mind wfping tops means pure water goes onto some bottoms anyway, or is that my answer? Have tried my fairy/vinegar mix with pure water which is pretty good , I quite rate that!!
Just thinking over how to tackle summer!

Also should i invest in a spray bottle, or keep dunking in my bucket too?!!

just use vinegar on your fish and chips with a dash of salt

Brett, not being funny but is there a good reason( no not why u put vinegar on your chips)(but why u put salt on too?)

Seriously, is it the same in winter or do u then use GG4 and hot tap water?

Also do u use a spray bottle or bucket? Or is it each to their own??

i do my own mix vinegar  fairy and 1 part ammonia.

I've always only used fairy, but I'd like to try GG3 if I find a stockist.

Apparently it doesn't "slip" as well though, and that's a blow because I'm a fast worker.

I think if you're doing 'tops only' with WFP, instead of carting a bucket of water around with you; on top of your WFP gear; just fill a bottle up with your cleaning solution and wet your applicator when required.

GG3 is for soft water thats why its ok in pure water, but in winter it will be a bit cold as we all like to start out with that hot bucket of water first thing.  For good results i find gg3 and pure water does the trick and i'll just have grin and bear it in the winter, each to their own.

No, i dont use a spray bottle just a quick spray with harmony hairspray on my hair before i go out in the morning

nothing slips like fairy liquid, been using it for years had no probs but just fancied a change with gg3 and pure water, for a better slip with gg3 you need to add a touch more but its not the cheapest on the market.  Also 'squeegy off' is very good from your posts and your forthright manner i can see you are a professional, i like the way you stand up for what you believe in, keep up the good work you keep this forum on its toes

PURE WATER TRAD:  Use pure water and squeezy off from B/Q £4.99 AND LASTED ME NEARLY 3 WEEKS PLUS,STILL GOT SOME LEFT.

If your changing over to wfp shortly go around your round using it,[ trad,]and when you wfp you will have very few spots on the first clean how do I know[DONE IT ,BEEN THERE] NEVER USED GG3/4 BUT THERE IS PLENTY OF SLIP WITH SQUEEZY OFF

 SQUEEKY TRY IT IT WILL MAKE YOU EVEN FASTER,AS THERE ISNT SO MUCH TO DETAIL

pure water and GG3 perfect results i only ever wipe tops.  and sills of course!!

I'll give a few things a go then, the squeezy-off and gg3.

To be honest Dai, it works for you but I like suds, as it's easy to see at a glance what you've done.
I've found that when I'm a bit low on suds I'm having to concentrate that bit more, rather than my usual autopilot.
