Taps with rectus 26 fittings. Male end on tap end so I can open the water flow any time I like when disconnected.

Cleantec trigger.

Extremely precise which is how I like it. No waste.

You do get the 'loop' of hose when pole is not extended but you get used to it and work round it.

metal bodied inline tap with screw in barbed fittings on the end of reel of microbore followed by a hoselock style end stop but microbore size.
On smaller shorter jobs I sling the end of the hose over my shoulders so the tap is easy to reach, on longer larger jobs I clip the end of the hose and tap to a large carabina and hang it on my belt.

a simple inexpensive pole hose tap just before the brush and kink the hose between windows/extending/retracting.

Tap on holster just keep the tap about a foot or more in front of you then you don't ever get a wet leg.

I'm a pole hose kinker and not really interest in adding weight to the top or bottom of my poles peter nor having things that can break or are frustrating to use..

Might still one day try a remote though but not to use it all the time when working as still would save me walking back to the van to turn the pump controller on/off when needed.

So Smurf would you consider it if it didn't add any weight, and it didn't add any lengh, and there was nothing extra to break?
Remote controls although better than nothing is not really ideal. I used them on my trolleys about 15 years ago and stopped as soon as I found something better. The delay, the holding, and the damp conditions made them impractical for me.

Peter I would continue using the pinch method as all my pole hoses are fitted on the outside of the poles as I prefer them that way.
The aquatap would be no good either as I tend to use gardiner long arm swivels on most of my exterior cleaning jobs including fsg etc.

To be honest I have not found one invention yet that is better than just using pinch method

I've used all of the above and currently have a small inline tap attached to the bottom of my slx 18. I attached it with cable ties. Yes I have a loop but it's not a problem at all.
Also I have a aquatap on the end of my extreme 25. Once you set the stiffness correctly they work well.
Overall I think the aquatap (when it's set correctly) is probably the quickest.

Unger flo control. I think its brilliant although you do have the loop so after a few hours I tend to disconnect the pole hose from the micro bore to straighten it out.

I had a freebie through the post and within an hour of using it was put into the bin.
