Size of pole
« on: August 17, 2015, 05:10:25 pm »
Hi guys

I start a new contract end of the month. I've uploaded pics (hope they turn out)

Can you advise what size of pole I should use.

The job is to clean all the guttering and facia round the top of roof every visit.

Looking for a light pole

Any views would be appreciated

Danny

I was thinking more the extreme 47 to be sure for the top guttering.

Your looking at 4 storeys plus a slope on the ground at some point.

I was going to say more like 35 foot. Going on 8 foot per floor. But didn't account for sloping floor so would have to agree with Jonny. Re price check the Gardiner poles site.

if a xtream is out of your budget then go for a slx35 that will get it ,

To be honest I don't have a budget

I just need the right size of pole at a reasonable price

I don't mind paying extra for a lighter one, but need to make sure it lasts

That's why I'm asking the guys on here their opinions as they are the experienced ones

£1100 for the extreme.

At that height though it's well worth it.

no way would a 25 ft pole reach the gutters/fascias on that job.id say you d struggle with a 35 footer.its got to be a 45ft-50ft pole to be on the safe side.plus you d want to NOT extend every section fully for extra rigidity at that height.

my 47ft extreme would do it easily.
price higher/work harder!

Has anyone tried  streamline xr ecoline poles. They are half the price. I'm a believer that you only get what you pay for, but any info on this would be great.
