They recommend you use a sediment prefilter so it don't get clogged... see vid

Yes.
If it's the CFB Plus there is no need for a separate sediment pre-filter the CFB Plus alone is enough.

Simply fit this filter into any of the housings and leave the other filter housings empty.

The filter shown in the video link above is not the same filter (this one is a 5 micron rating not the 0.5 micron rating of the Floplus) so does not specifically need a pre-sediment filter. However in very heavy sediment areas then a sediment pre-filter can be useful to maintain full flow rates.
