That would be interesting.  A pole system fitted in a boat as a backup in case it's really wet.

We did get some torrential rain and two good thunder storms yesterday and a little flooding on the roads. Nothing you could float a boat in though. Not unless it was a model.

I did manage to cram in an hour and a half of work from 1600-17.30. Then we had a shed load more rain and thunder again in the evening. I know many of us work in the rain but I don't suppose too many worked in that. You'd have had to wear goggles to keep your eyes open.  ;D ;D

its bin naff in devon yesterday an its sheeting down this morning but will b dry buy 10am so ill ave a late start late finish to day and wrk to morrow

Customer cancelled last night due to heavy rain thank god as I did not fancy getting soaked today.

Regarding using boats I'm aware of cleaners using wfp from boats to gain access to clean windows on building surrounded by water. Others use them to clean large multi million pound yachts. 

Solar steve like to use them on floating solar farms too ;D
