The di tank filter system works alot more efficiently going by the sales blurred than a normal di tank.
All the same unger wants silly money for decent size tanks. I will just have to wait until good old china starts producing copies methinks
.....or just give the standard vessel a shake regularly to disperse the channels formed by the incoming flow of water traveling 'DOWN' through the resin.....
Unger and Spectrums vessels work on the same principal of incoming water traveling 'UP' through the resin.
Unger vessel, water enters at the bottom and rises evenly UP-through the resin and out the top...
Spectrum vessel, water enters at the top and 'down' the centre tube and then rises evenly 'UP-through' the resin and out the top...
Standard vessel, water enters at the top and 'flows DOWN-through' the resin (causing channels to form) and then rises UP-through the centre tube and out the top.
