Self service
« on: August 11, 2015, 05:46:36 am »
Went to the post office today, we was told to use a self service machine.😨

Just wondering if we turned up at someone's house and said we now do self service you have to clean your own windows and pay us the same, would we get away with it.😀

same as Tesco / sansbury's if get asked to use til act dumb and get them to show you how to work mchine every time . If I wanted to work on a check out I would appy for job in supermarket / post office at least I would get a  staff discount jus a way for them to reduce staff numbers and increase profit

Most companies are abondoning these now, as there has been a customer revolt !     I sometimes when in a rush at the supermarket try and use them, and I always  get " unrecognised item in bagging area " then you have to wait until some poor underpaid. overworked totally unintersted person swipes a credit card, with a smug grin on their face  ;D

If I turn up at a job and said there you go all the stuff is on the van as we now operate a self cleaning service I wonder if I would get many takers.   ;D

I would be happy to sit watching customers do the work instead whilst taking the same amount of money me doing the work myself.  ::)roll

I don`t use the self service at super markets as I am paying for service at the till already. So poor sod will loose his job if we all accept it, so no I will not. They must loose a fortune in mistakes made by us using the machines. I see Lidl has installed self help and it does not register the weight of each item so I have see many folk taking 10 rolls and only entering 1 roll as this is default on bakery.
