haha yeah should have done  ;D

Skirt came today, great stuff :) Thanks Ben

While Ive got you, can I pick your brain Ben.  On the same surface cleaner it is vibrating like mad.

I cant figure out why.  It seems to be off balance somehow and also the nozzles are out.   I have one nozzle riding about an inch off the ground and the other is about inch and a quarter.
I have changed the shaft (not the head, just the shaft) and tried my spare rotary arm but the nozzles are still out which points to the head.  The shaft has new bearings and is a snug fit in the head, free from dirt etc.  It started doing this about 2 months ago, not long after I upgraded the pump, but lance works fine off pump.
I run 3,000psi @ 21LPM
Any ideas because i'm stumpt and fed up of throwing money at it.

Cheers

I have  known the centre shafts be bent before looking at the movement in the video I would say the central shaft could be bent, have you double checked your jet sizes, checked both your bars are straight.

If you turn it upside down and turn it check for the shaft rotating out of centre and unevenly. :)

Its had a change of centre shaft and 2 new bars.  Jet sizes are correct and have even replaced them.

Ive done the upside down test and it seems to be rotating fine.  I think the shaft is sitting in the cradle (head) unevenly and so comes out under the whirlaway at an angle. As in the shaft doesnt sit true and plumb in the head.

Never had a problem on a 15LPM pump though

Hi, sorry the sitting skew in the head was the bit I meant :) sorry!
How worn was the shaft when you rebuilt it last?
What I mean to say is that it sounds as though the top of the shaft may be bent? As this or damage to the lining of the head is one of the only things which can cause this issue. :/

Im not sure where the skew is.  Is it the very top of the head (looking up from underneath the whirlaway)  where water comes in, like a cradle.  It could be that, there is no obvious signs of damage but it could be worn away..
The shaft looked good last time, I dont think it needed replacing. i lined new and old backto back and there was no real difference.

If i hadnt spent so much trying to figure it out I would bin it and replace.  The money i have spent figuring it out nearly amounts to a new one.

If you think the head itself its worn then can you price me a new head.  Im sick of it shaking, its killing my hands and fingers.

If you can spare the head for 72hrs I can get it looked at =.
We've started a head exchange program which might help - I'll email you in the morning. :)

Morning Ben,

Been thinking about this and can you price and send out a new head please.  Minus the shaft if possible, if not i'll just use as spares.

It has to be the head thats the problem because I have already replaced everything else that it could possibly be.

Ben. I have just checked and that skew is out of alignment. I have taken shaft out and the skew is moving around ( I don't know if it is suppose to move or not) I can move it with my finger.
