Sometimes use it as a bargaining tool to justify the price.

Conversely sometimes use it as a premium add on service..

I cant believe that you guys don't use airmovers on every job , think of it from a clients
point of view when they are asked by there friends how good were the carpet cleaners
they probably would say carpets upholstery stayed wet for x amount of hours if you just put
air mover on for 15minutes it will dramatically reduce drying time, and they will say to there
friends guess what they even dry the carpets upholstery no brainer works Atreat every time.

From the customers point of view seeing the use of airmovers will add to the drama and really impress them.

The new Drieaz Velo's and Truvox Hybrid are much better than the snail driers for transporting and storing on your van.
Also because they are drawing air from above rather than the side where it is damp they actually dry faster.

John, did you have a go with the amtech one? Amtech one is a bit cheaper, these or driez ones are on my mind for a months.
Can you compare them?

I recently read an article in the ncca magazine were the cleaner had placed an air mover in someones sitting room were there was a log burner and it caused some sort of venturi effect and all of the soot was drawn out all over the clean carpet.

yes you did read an article in ncca mag regarding a air mover that blew soot dust in a property
but using common sense perhaps you would have cover up the fire place or pointed the air mover in
a different direction. we have been using air movers for over 10  years and never had a problem and
every day we use them regardless of the weather. happy cleaning guys

Yes soot can be blown out of fireplaces and wood burners. Also had a lad cleared a mantelpeice when he moved a high power Sirroco with switching it off first. Another one to watch is fluff behind radiators.

mine is pretty much too powerfull for domestic use, unless its an empty eot, but okay in commercial as long as not too close to desks etc et........  would be like a new york ticker tape parade..

Hi Radek, the Amtech one is the same as the Truvox. We will be doing them for the same price.
We have both Drieaz and Truvox airmovers in our hire fleet, both are reliable and have had no issues with either. These are snails mind not the new style.

 I use the Sahara snail. My other half does a lot of end of tenancy cleans and I get carpet cleans on the back of those. Therefore, I don't use the snail for those cleans as no rush in drying times.

I have found the snail very useful. It does help the drying times for sure.

Use mine quite a bit,but like it's been said,watch out for expensive ornaments ect,used mine to dry my sofa's off and covered half the cars in the street with soot from my chimney

Stuff being blown about, don't forget the Pot-Pouri, birthday cards, and they can blow soot deposit from the coals on Gas fires.
