avoid CCN

marketing is your job as you best to know what you need, what you can etc. get software like cleanersmate, bookitup etc.

tim, are you already on the top of google?
If not, you will be better investing in good seo which will cost you less then Ccn.
When I was doing adwords myself I use to ask customers how they found me, if the answer was google then I asked was it top result the sponsored ad or natural search result and mostly it was natural search, many said they dont click adwords as they a bit spammy.

Thats just what im after, good seo, just dont know how to do do it, im after a company to sort it for me.........
ccn is still working, but i want to move up a few notches with my marketing and sales.  Do folks still use leaflets?
are they effective?     any ideas how i can kick my sales up the arse very welcome, im relying on ccn and yell online at the moment....

I use CCN. I find it does very well in general. I do leaflets occasionally and this also works for me. Used to rely on parish/local town magazines but in the end the return just dwindled. I dont bother with FB as thats for a certain breed of customer that im not after. I takey time on jobs, chat well with the customers, leave thrm business cards and I get good recommendations this way.

I used to work for a company who sent 25000 leaflets out a week. They probably do more now. It was theyre main source of advertising. I send out 5k now and then. I target the wealthier areas but it's hitting the right people at the right time in my experience. Ie, just had decorating done or.just about to move in/out.

I got a good bloke recommended who charged me £25 per 1000. Bargain.
Having said that response wasnt great, at the end of the day if you think about it you arent targeting people looking for carpets cleaned, its pot look with leaflets in my opinion. 2500 of the 5000 houses might not even have carpets.
Personally i would look elsewhere to bring in work mate.

ive just started talking to a company who will do em for £30 a thousand, steve i dont think 1000 is enough, probably 5000 isnt enough, but i fancy trying 5000 a month for 3 or 4 months and seeing what return it brings me in......... i know some of the big players do up to 50000 at a time..........

And the other 2500 don't have furniture and sit on the floor ;)

good, means different to everyone, how much ccn and adwords cost you together and how much do you have from it? Its quite busy month for carpets now so how much it gives you now, new ccn customers only.

re leaflets, if you all think that anyone/legal company can deliver 1000 leaflets for 25-35 pounds you are dreamers. You only supply fuel to someones fireplace :)
One person can deliver max around 1k a day, and to make it cost effective it has to be at least 3-4 leaflets delivered at once, so most of people will not even see them as they use to grab them all and straight to the bin, mostly if delivered with newspapers or the same day with other leafleters.

Yes my leaflets get delivered with 3 others. Thats how the distribution company makes its own profit.

What do  you find works best for you Radek?

I find online marketing just brings in enquiries from idiots, I do it as it helps my existing customer find me if they search google but as for new business its crap.

I believe it's the lazy mans marketing  for people who can't be bothered to do anything that requires physical effort, so much easier to sit on a computer and press a Keyboard  than get out the house :D
