And did it fit without issue in  a Prochem steempro 2000 (about 11years old) without issue ? It looks quite tall, to fit in the machine, could turn it on it's side, I guess.

Hi Marc,

According to a Prochem UK press release from 2013, these new pumps will retro-fit into older Steempro's:

"Existing Steempro users are not missing out. The new 150psi induction drive pumps can be easily retro-fitted into older machines".

I have an old Prochem powermax, about the same age.

I fitted the Prochem 150psi induction pump a couple of years ago, the only thing i had to do was to cut down the 4 rubber mounts so it close down without hitting the tank.

Great , thanks Guy's,should be here by Thursday,current pump is about dead, no pressure when working upstairs,so thought I would replace the Flojo I got from Woodbridge on the cheap,as everyone was returning them, this has lasted over 18 months

Its a tight fit, Just have a magnet tool handy when you drop the nut Marc

In honesty, the bolts are long gone,usually just hold the pump in place with heavy duty cable ties  Thread them under the metal plate have to use 2,as 1 isn't long enough,but it's much easier to swap pumps and believe me there have been quite a few in that machine in the 11 years I have owned it

I've been looking to sell the old girl for a long time but its earned  me good money over the years.

Same, dread to think how much I have earned with that machine in 11 years,
Best week I have ever had and next 3 weeks are full also, hence buying a new pump and investing ££ back into the business.

Well,with a little adjustment,it fits, just moved the bracket around and it's now mounted on it's side, fits well.

Yes, fitted this morning and used it all day, much better, ,was getting streaks before,when working upstairs, the pressure of the old one was rubbish,but the new one is fine,although,it did start pulsing,as I was emptying the tank,with just a quick connect on the end of the hose,when I was packing me gear up.

I fitted the same pump in a ninja. But mine was a on- demand pump so was switching on and off with demand. It was getting hot and would cut out till cooled. In the end I used it with the by pass partially open.  It gave up the ghost.  Derek ashby reckoned I should have got a continuos running pump.
