Good tip for the summer
« on: May 05, 2006, 12:05:44 am »
Get thirsty during the day! especially now its getting hotter.

Fill a 2 litre plastic bottle up full of water, stick it in the freezer at night, take it out in the morning and you will have an ice cold drink that stays cold allday and costs nothing  8)
A bad days fishing is better than a good days work !

I drink all the tea that any customers care to supply.

Along with the odd plate of kit kats and biscuits.

Tea can lead to dehydration, you need water.
English cricketer missed a test in India due to drinking too much tea, not enough water.

Last Summer a couple of days were extremely hot.

We used plenty of factor 30, and sprays filled with water to cool us down.  We sprayed each others clothing with it.

Financially, things are better this year, so I'll avoid working in the extreme heat when I can.

Most of my customers seem to be at home. Either retired old folk or housewife types. lots of refreshments on tap. Mum lives within 2 minute drive of a lot of my round so i pop round there for the odd break too.  ;D ;D ;D

Anyway........Drink lots of water..........DRINK, DRINK, DRINK.

i lost my dad 15 years ago, he was only 43, self inflicted, (not suicide), mind you, i suppose it was in a way, years of abuse, im NOT going down his road.

any way, if you drink plenty of water this will avoid head achs as they are caused by dehidation.
