German motors used to be the shizz

nowadays, most of the parts are taken from other motors (mostly the pi55in' french or fiat) and so aren't as good
even the new hiace's aren't as good as the older marks imo
Why don't you have a quick google before making stupid comments?

Had this issue with my 04 Trafic. Zip ties have been the repair method so far. They generally last 6 to 12 months before snapping.
Could this device be fitted to the gear stick end of the cable too?

Don't think so, as if it was a possibilty I am sure they would advertise it !
