Airflex Storm
« on: June 24, 2015, 11:03:57 pm »
Just taken delivery of my new Airflex Storm ! What a fantastic bit of kit it is ! The build quality is fabulous, only cleaned a small carpet in my house this evening but definitely the most powerful porty ive ever used, well thought out and nowhere near as heavy as I imagined ! In fact its not much heavier than my Scorpion, and rolls into the van with ease
thankyou John Kelly youve made my day mate

The solution one has no holes cut in for hoses or to fill I would like a cover like the evolution or the ninja use a Barbie cover just now

Two months into my Storm and agree best portable I've used.
I bought a BBQ cover (less than £10) and cut holes in the relevant places.

do you use a glide on your wand ? I bought a two jet westpack and tried it out today but without the glide ! Big mistake it would hardly move as the suction was so great, it stuck down to the floor, I reverted to my four jet westpac which has s greenglide aleady fitted

Depends on the type of carpet, the majority of the time I don't use it but last week was cleaning a deep pile carpet and the like you mention the wand was just sticking to the floor so slid the glide on to make things easier, then slid it off again for the next job.

Dont think I will be using the new twin jet much as I've bought it I will carry it in the van, just in case the four jet clogs, and I will fit the green glide to the twinjet when I come back from my hols in ten days time

So are you guys with the Storm, just using hot water from the kitchen tap, or the Magna Heater?

I wouldn't be without my magma. I don't know how you cope without heat..... you'll  see what everyone is talking about when you get one.

Use the magma but also try to add warm water to the tank so ends up nice and hot at the wand.

I have a Mytee Turbo Hot Box it produces very hot water/steam from stone cold water, it has four independent heaters , I used it today at 250 psi through my four jet westpack

Hi Stuart, thinking about getting a Storm too.

Would you or anyone mind posting some pictures of the insides when you get a minute? Haven't ever had  a chance to see one closeup.

Thinking of switching so that I can maybe do my own repairs - saving downtime, have heard its a bit simpler inside compared to others.

What were you running before you had it?

Good pic on the Cleansmart site [urlhttp://www.cleansmartsupplies.co.uk/acatalog/4_Easy_access_servicing.html][/url] bottom of the page. The pump is at the front.
