12" whirl away
« on: June 24, 2015, 01:12:42 am »
One jet is blocked as suggested by the chap with the Mad Max style pressure washer.
There was a small trickle of rust coming from the jet after first use and now I can see a small shard of metal in the jet, it seems to work at times though!
Problem is that jet ain't budging so I'll see what the supplier says.

Just noticed the time I posted this thread at! I was lying awake after this and thinking a vice is what I need. But the jet looks like it will start to round before it turns.
Its workable for now.
What's your price for a replacement bar with jets fitted for 21 litre 3000psi including delivery. :)

Poor quality fittings. 11.6mm quick release jammed as the ball bearings on the female end caused the male part (lance) to deform making it impossible to detach... Cut through the brass quick release on the lance with an angle grinder to find what was happening. The ball bearings have nocked away creating a lip around the connection which caused it to jam. Around a month old!

The BE style 11.6mm fittings are crap - you are much better off changing to M22 or to PA ARS 250 couplings :)

:-[ I've ordered a replacement 11.6 and filed down the problem one to make do for a day or two. I'll need to look into replacing connections.
