A certain ethnic but ever increasing minority want it done cheap, you ask them if they are happy with the job, say "yes shall we talk about the price".

A certain Indian food outlet owner never paid his bill and said " your missus said I did'nt have to pay the invoice - will you still come and do this other job for me"? I kindly declined after deconfusing him. He however paid the previous bill for unblocking the footwash at the mosque. I thought it was a urinal.

I now have a silent customer vetting system and I have turned and drove off when they answer the door 

I have another customer who has a brand new BMW in a private road on a 80m block drive - "you did it for £80 last year, I checked my cheque stubs" ! 

They must think we need their work

Strangely we get the most attempted return of goods from the same people   Usually telling us the chemicals don't work and asking to return the last couple of drops in the bottle,  or the bottle arrived empty with all the contents leaked in the package, or they applied the sealer and it doesn't have the same performance of the one they bought last year from their corner shop

Had one this week, for windows - yes I do normally do them myself once a year, but the builder has left cement all over them, can you give them a quick clean today then I'll have them done every month...

Ok, that'll be £50 first clean followed by £15 every 8 weeks..

Oh, I'll only expected to pay £5

I get so many calls like this from my window cleaning website that I'm not going to renew the hosting on it as its a waste of time for me doing a £10 jobs all over the place

'im selling the house so i need it done cheap'  on a 500k house! Thats one i had the other week, he still paid up 200 notes to do his drive, pilock. And he was a Mohamed!

Generally, as a weekend market trader, I can tell a haggler when i see one and always over quote to give them the satafaction  of winning the deal.

If you polish and restore the marble in the Lobby for half price you can do the rest of the building once we get the budget approved

I just say I will do the Lobby at full price and then give you a discount  once I get the rest.  Rarely  seems to happen though

Quoted someone £310 to clean a driveway and  was told that they thought it would be about £100, as thats what the neighbours paid. I suggested that they used the the driveway cleaners that the neighbours used. 2 days later got a call to see when I could clean their driveway.  When I said 2 weeks I got a mouth full
