My new motor arrived today so I can convert the Airflex Pro in to an Electro Storm, or the same motor set up as a Storm with the Electro Motors or an Alltec Evolution. I will be interested to see if I notice any difference in power. In theory it will give me 14 more cfm and 27 more inches of lift not a great deal but every little helps.

Robin, will it run off the one cord or are you adding another cord?

I'm going to use 1 cord and see how I get on. I know its over the limit however I have a gutter vacuum which is 3600 w that will draw 15 amps and I have never had a problem with it in about 8 years. I know that John Martin has also tried it with no problems. I am going to fit it all up in a couple of hours and try it out so I should find out if there are any problems.

I wondered if they used the bigger 1800w electro in the storm etc

They definitely should be using the 8.5 amp version in a two cord storm  .

yeah , its no problem . As a precaution  I do change my plug every two months or so ...  the 13amp slow burn fuse runs a bit warm at 15amps and the heat buildup on the fuse terminal can blacken it speeding up the heating process .  I find it easy to just stick a new plug on .  I meant to source a 15amp fuse or make to stop that .

Well the conversion is complete. I can't actually feel any difference at all. I suppose the real test will be using it.

Well  i have been using it  and it doesn't blow any trips. It definitely has more pull. As for dry times it is difficult to tell. I would be happy using it at 100 ft no probs.
