Clamped or tapered

Just about to purchase some gutter Vacs and poles. I want to get this right first time and not have to faff around changing poles.
Going with grippa as I trust their product, but want to know anyone's opinion on the clamped poles if you use them. Been told they're slightly heavier but are they as good as the tapered ones.
Im thinking tapered, but don't like the thought of struggling to get them apart
Cheers

I use the tapered carbon poles. If you clean them after use and wipe down with wd 40 they won't stick.
