nope but ive got 100m of microbore(6mm)on no problem on my spare(claber) reel.

seriously mate ditch the 8mm and buy some 6mm.its so much easier to work with if you use your van mount a lot.
price higher/work harder!

Modify it.
Drill the holes lower down to make the centre section smaller.

Fit some wood across the top to stop the hose going down the side if the reel.

Fit some wood to the bottom to save grazed knuckles.

Smartie pants, the wood across the top will save me a lot of trips back muttering to myself!
Any ideas how to fit it to the metal bar at the back of an L200?

its easier just to buy microbore than modding a reel to fit 8mm on.

8mm is awful to work with when you ve got used to 6mm hose.

It's like a bumper (metal bar) that I want to attach the hose reel to so I don't have to lift it in and out and keep my load area locked as equipment has gone a miss.

6mm is so much easier to work with  , But after 8 weeks mine is showing signs of wear not sure how much longer it will last the Thermobore was far far more durable .

Gardiners microbore only ever buy from Gardiners .

Not sure if the worst part is damage from been driven over , But after dragging around houses and walls it is showing some rub marks that are almost through the outer skin .
