Getting a bit stiff, what can I use to free them up a bit without damaging the o-rings?

Vaseline or some sort of silicone based lubricant would be my recommendation.

O-rings will probably be viton.

I use silicone grease - just a dab before connecting together

The grit sticks to the grease. I only use stainless Qr's now and rarely have any issues - I spit on it before fitting the trigger
