I have been back 4 times to see how things are going so 20 votes x 4 = 80 ish views, if the others have done similar.

out of couriosity, those who use manual switches, is it not a pain droping the pole every time to switch of, i thought more folk would have used remote controls, i know its been mentioned  that folks got rid of them becouse of interferance and such, jouk45

i use a manual switch

my day goes like this

park cart/sack truck @ the middle of the front of the house, clean front upstairs windows (normally the 10 M's of hozelock micro will allow this)

TURN OFF WATER

move cart/sack truck around the rear @ middle of house, clean windows

TURN OFF WATER

the seconds it takes to move from from window to window results in VERY little water being wasted

i then leave the cart around the rear and clean the downstairs manually

jobs a good un

I suppose we are all different.
Joe, even with a remote you have to let go the pole to reach the switch even if as I used to do I hung around my neck. What we really want is a mind control on/off sytem. :)
