Who uses wagtail and which is the best one to buy, also who prefers the wagtail squeegee rubber

The one with the yellow cover is the best I think it's the combi and the rubber is naff put an ettore rubber in it

I wish Wagtail would actually state more clearly what is what with their wagtails! It's not very clear the difference between them all. I have the original flippers which are great. Bought one of those new pivotal handles which you are supposed to be able to fit to most channels & it's utter garbage- it doesn't fit any channel properly as the actual part that fits to a channel is pants.

I think the original is the best the blue cover I could not get on with and the one that soaps and cleans in one pass is hopeless I found,it's a very good tool for shops but the odd window on houses I will always use applicator and squeegee separately.

I got a  12" flipper great tool on a pole

I like the 12-14" ones like I say very good on regular clean shops,also they tend to dog ear better than other squeegees you seem to able to be more acurate with altering the angle of the channel

I found the rubber a bit naff and much prefer razor red

I've got a couple of combi's and like them. Didn't like the original yellow flipperpad thingy much. Quite fancy trying the new one with the very narrow pad - precision or something.

Another desperate effort for willie to try and make money from a squeegee that applies hardly any water to the window,all he's done is cut the pad right down so you can close out easier at the bottom of the window,I've yet to use a one pass squeegee that works well

I can't see how that will close out easier. The original flippers have the pad attached at the very rear of the channel on like an extension piece. This keeps the pad back somewhat & helps to prevent it bunching up on close out. With a pad attached to a slim channel I can only imagine closing out would be worse as the pad must get in the way on the bottom frame?

They aint that good. I was made up with mine at first, probably because (with the wagtail angle adaapter) you can fan with a pole whilst high up. But you don't really need to do that. Yellow pads as said hold hardly any liquid, blue pads are big and stiff. Better off with an applicator in one hand and squeegee in the other and master that. You'd probably master that quicker than it takes you to master all that flipping with a wagtail !!!

They are handy though on insides when you don't want much water. Provided you can master closing out with a flippy floppy pad dangling about.

So the pad drip doesn't drip when doing the inside of a conservatory roof?

is it possible to attach a wagtail on a pole for WFP system? so that way I don't end up buy a extendable pole for wagtail and a pole for WFP?

Thanks. That's answered the question perfectly.

Most insides of conservatory roofs only tend to get done when the owners notice the dirt. I guess it's still a case of remove the furniture etc, or plenty of thick dust sheets. Both are a PITA.

If the inside is polycarbonate and opaque then I normally use a floor mop - the ones with the big flat microfibre pad.
